Traveling Wilburys - End of the Line

¿Cuántas veces habeis visto tanto y tan bueno por metro cuadrado?

Ayer hablaba de que en este tiempo de blogs había descubierto bandas. Una de ellas, la cual me la presento mi amiga y compañera bodeguil Edén (ay la celosía...jajajajajajaja), es Traveling Wilburys. Tampoco he profundizado demasiado en ellos pero su primer disco lo tengo bastante trillado. Si algo me gusta de ellos, es la versatilidad de voces, guitarras y estilos que se entremezclan en las composiciones. Puedes cerrar los ojos y jugar a adivinar quien toca o quien canta en cada momento.

El grupo estaba formado por George Harrison, Jeff Lyne, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty y Bob Dylan. En la banda todos adoptaron nombre con un apellido similar (como los Ramones que vimos ayer), eran los hijos de Charles Truscott Wilbury. Así pasaron a ser Nelson Wilbury, Lefty Wilbury , Otis Wilbury , Lefty Wilbury , Charlie T. Wilbury Jr. y Lucky Wilbury, respectivamente. El bueno de Roy falleció a los dos meses de editarse el disco. Es por eso que en el video clip que hoy nos ocupa lo oireis cantar, pero no lo vereís, vereis su guitarra en una mecedora y un retrato suyo. El siguiente disco que grabó la banda, todos mantuvieron el apellido Wilbury, pero se cambiaron los nombres.
